Meant host family went to Umetsudodal Junior High as well as an Elementary School and a special Ed classroom than a differently abled school... all the schools were impressive.... the Special Ed at Elementary level were autistic class rooms with only 3 students and one teacher,,, at the differently abled school there was one teacher per student... it was marvelous... what a concept for student progress.. a teacher stays with the student for one year and then the following year the teacher receives a different student. In the Junior High there are 980 students and two Art Teachers. The pictures are from the Junior High School.... after school sport activities.... school activities... and classroom activities.. as well as student's artwork.. Students serve and eat lunch in their classrooms and clean up afterwards.. and then at 3PM every student helps in cleaning the school...
